Sharing favorite recipes: Grape Salad
This recipe is the most requested for me to make around the holidays. I usually bring it to my office party, and there is never any left over. This recipe is a little different from most grape salads on the internet (added Mayo), but I think it is the best!

Issuu - free software
Have you ever seen the catalogs online that look like books -- you can use your mouse to turn the individual pages to browse through the catalog? Well, today at work I learned about a FREE software program that will take any document (PDF, Word, etc...) and create this format for you.
First, create an account at http://issuu.com/. You will have to verify your e-mail address. Then, upload documents to create the cool effect.
There are lots of wonderful examples on the site. The PRCC Business Marketing program is now offering a completely online program, which I am hoping to take their previously created Word document and make it into a beautiful "page-turnable" document using this program. Look for it soon on http://www.prcc.edu/. :)

GiRl can SiNg!
I have always thought Sara Ramirez, off of Grey's Anatomy, was beautiful. Not bone thin, dark skin, and eye-brows to die for!!! lol :) Yesterday someone told me that she can SING too. And she sings beautifully! Thought you may enjoy her video -- this was from the "musical" episode of Grey's last week.....she actually sang the song! I had never heard the song, but it is gorgeous.

Fun Treat!
Bakerella, one of my favorite cooking blogs, has the cutest idea for kids in the kitchen! Most of her recipes seem a little difficult if you aren't experienced in fondant, chocolate, etc.... But, if you have kids, and allow them to come into your kitchen to cook, you are gonna love this! :)
Make chocolate "cups" by molding chocolate on the end of a balloon. Fill the hardened chocolate cups with whatever you want -- icecream or pudding (Bakerella has a great pudding recipe) -- or even a healthy alternative, fresh FRUIT! Strawberries & whipped cream would be great in a chocolate shell for Valentine's Day I think! Or, bananas and peanut butter in chocolate. The possiblities are endless!
You can find the pudding recipe, and the instructions for making these cute cups by going to Bakerella's site.
Let me know what YOU think would be a good combination! :)

New Uses for Old Things
Stumbled across this website today, thought she had some awesome recipes! But also, I loved this post about taking old things and making them new again. Very clever. :)
