http://www.pinterest.com/ is my favorite website, at the moment. You must be invited, or request an invitation, to the site. Once you are a member, you "pin" stuff you like....think of it like little digital, bulletin boards that you tag things in categories to. Awesomeness!!!!!! I'm definately hooked.

Emily's nails!

I love Emily Maynard's nails!!!!.....she is the girl that just won The Bachelor. Here's the polish she wore. It's called Fiji by Essie. I bought mine at KMart, but Rite Aid has it too....$8. Just painted my nails and now I just need a tan to match!!! Lol :)

I can see clearly now...

A few weeks ago I slept with my glasses. Rolled all over them, and broke them into pieces. :(
So, I have been on the hunt for some CHEAP glasses (since I only wear them at bedtime I don't need anything "designer"). I went to EyeMasters in the mall, and thought their $59 frames were a good price.....until they told me the total would be $200 after the price of lenses was added in. NO thank you.

So, today I decided to google "discount glasses." I came across this site. I found some frames that I liked (or think I like based on the printable PDF that I cut out and put on my face! ha!). I typed in my prescription, and ordered. I was impressed with the detailed instructions, and the printable ruler on the site -- I printed it out, and my friend Amy helped me measure my eyes. Easy as pie.

When ordering I noticed a spot to type in a PROMO CODE -- so I googled "promo code for 39dollarglasses" and came across the promo code: fatwallet20

When it was all said and done, I spent $19 bucks on glasses (frame and lens) -- plus $5 shipping. They should arrive in 3-7 days. I am excited. Saved some money, again! :)

Around my neck...

Gosh, I am such a sucker for cute accessories!! I love these chunky necklaces, that I found on www.etsy.com. The fact that they are "handmade" makes me like them even more. The bib-style necklaces are too cute, and my sister told me about the cute "fork" necklace that is unique and a conversation-starter. :) My sister def. has the cutest style of jewelry that I have ever seen!
I have also been on a felt kick here lately, experimenting with felt (making my daughter hair clips), and yo-yos out of fabric, AND I love this knitted felt necklace!!! I want one of these necklaces around my neck SOON!!!! <Hint: Luke, Mother's Day & Anniversary is coming!>

Athropologie!

Anthropologie has some of my favorite things, although they are quite expensive. From ruffled shower curtains, to chunky jewelry, they have the most unique products. I just browse, and dream.

I just can't get over the CUTE kitchen towels....I want them ALL!!!

I LOVE Makeup!!!!

Since it is Wednesday (Wishful Wednesday), I want to tell you about my LOVE for makeup and my *wish* to have all of Marlena's makeup. If you don't know of Marlena, you MUST visit her on http://www.makeupgeek.com/! She is great. She is the expert of everything makeup. She can teach you how to do your makeup like the celebrities!

Wishful Wednesday!

With springtime coming soon, I am wishing for a pair of super-cute rainboots! My daughter got a pair of pink/brown zebra print ones for Christmas, and they are TOO cute!

I loove these "Blame it on the Rain" rainboots....a spin off of the Milli Vanilli hit song of the late 1980's-1990's. I just makes me want to sing!!! I find it funny that most of my students may not even know of this song.... Hmm, I am getting OLD.

So, I hear that bloggers sometimes get free stuff, if the right person reads their blog....so, if you want to send me some rainboots, I wear a size 9. Thanks! :)

I surely can't afford these...they are almost $300 a PAIR....I KNEW I had expensive taste. ;)

Wishful Wednesday!

So, I was looking through some of my favorite blogs and I noticed that one blogger had a "Wishful Wednesday" post..... meaning, every Wednesday she would post something that she *wished* she had (something she liked). Ahh....what a wonderful idea. The other day I *wished* that I had that awesome jade green nail polish that all of the celebrities are wearing. I think I am going to start a "Wishful Wednesday" post. What do you think?

Today, I am *wishing* for a CRAFT ROOM!!! And, I want it to look JUST like this (except the paint color needs to be a little brighter)....all from Pottery Barn. How cool would that be? A wrapping paper station. Unlimited ribbon. Notecards. Stamps and ink. Ohhh, and I want a sewing machine too. LOOOOVE IT!

Very Cool Website!

My new favorite website is http://www.etsy.com/ where you can find very unique things that are homemade. Some of the prices are incredibly LOW! Find a stress ball, a laptop decal, a mouse pad, or a wrist rest for your office. I love searching the children's clothes and jewlery. I have a feeling that once you look at the site, you will be hooked!!

I love the laptop decal and sleep mask (see pictures). They are perfect gifts for a busy college student (or teacher....hint!) :)
